Kilifi Kids safely recycles your phone or tablet to fund healthcare programs in Kenya. Each smartphone or other electronic device donated funds Kilifi Kids’ projects supporting thousands of community health workers. Health workers use the phones to register pregnancies, track child immunizations, and communicate about emergencies.
There are three easy steps:
1. Collect your used phone, tablet, or computer (broken is ok) and package them in a box or shipping envelope.

All Data is Wiped
We take ANY phone, working or not, and don’t need chargers or accessories. Our recycling partner erases all data through a certified and secure process certified through R2, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001. The phones are refurbished for sale or recycled safely. Kilifi Kids receives the value of each recycled phone to purchase new mobile technology for our projects in Kenya. Kilifi Kids is a 501(c)(3) public charity.

Is this a tax deductible donation?
Yes. If you would like a tax donation form, please let us know at info@kilifikids.org! We will email you the form once we know what is donated.
How are the phones recycled?

Can I hold a company-wide donation drive?
Yes please! Amazing corporations, universities, and organizations have held phones drives. If you’d like hold a corporate drive and would like to donate to a specific program, email: info@kilifikids.org.
Can any phone be recycled?
We take any phone working or not. Chargers and batteries are not necessary.
