Kilifi Kids has already touched the lives of 100,000 in Kenya – Read some incredible stories here. But so many more don’t have access to basic medical care. A child who doesn’t get their polio shot. A mother who has her baby at her home. We have ambitious plans to change this and help a million more but we need your help today. It is easier than you think to lend a hand and change a life.
What you can do to help today.
Kilifi Kids believes that everyone deserves access to basic medical care, most especially mothers and kids. Yet, too many in Kenya and elsewhere like Martha are isolated from caregivers and face heartbreaking loss. Technology though is changing the game and Kilifi Kids is on the frontlines to empower local community health workers to reach entire populations with a cell phone. Learn how you can help today and be a part of the magic.
Become a Champion of This Cause!
You don’t have to sit on the sidelines. You can do work in your own community to make a difference in Africa. Organize your local school or your church or other group to sponsor a campaign for Kilifi Kids. It is very easy and we can get you started here. Collect old phones to be recycled. Raise funds so that we can buy new phones for hospital staff. There are many ways to be an ambassador for Kilifi Kids.
Donate to allow us to help more!
Even the smallest donations can go a very long way. Three cups of coffee ($15) can give airtime for 3 months to a clinic. Or $37 gets a hospital staff a cell phone with SIM card. Our work is easily scalable and, as new funds come in, we can add provide more equipment to new community health workers. This is particularly important today, as we are launching multiple interventions in western Kenya that would greatly benefit from more support. It is easy to donate here.
